Passing on knowledge is always satisfying. It's a great feeling to know you have helped others. With those thoughts in mind, I am pleased to offer a new workshop created specifically for other artists - from emerging artists to those with more established art careers. "Finding Direction in Your Art Career" calls on experience I gained earlier in my life working in sales and marketing, as well as lessons I have learned as a professional artist myself. Full details are listed on my workshop page (see above) and early registration is recommended as space is limited. We never stop learning, never stop growing.

Recently purchased, the painting "Improvise" now has a new home. I received a very kind email last evening from the purchasers expressing their appreciation and enjoyment of the painting now hanging on their wall. When someone is moved or touched in some way by my work, that joyful connection is so utterly satisfying. My painting style is very personal and the hope is always that once completed, the viewer will understand my intent, the emotional essence of what I am sharing. Thank you so very much. "Improvise", 36" x 48", evolved on the canvas in response to the jazz music I often listen to. I very much felt a part of the musical process, hearing the colours, the emotion, the spontaneity of the moment. |
