Adaptable by A Horsnell Wade For those of you unable to visit the Saint John Arts Centre between now and June 29th, all fifteen diptychs in the Gemini Series are now available to view on my website gallery. I have also posted my artist's statement to provide you with the origins of this new series. My heartfelt thanks go to Andrew Kierstead and his very professional team at the Saint John Arts Centre for hosting a wonderful opening night reception. "Gemini" was one of four exhibits to premiere last evening and I felt in very fine company indeed. Thanks as well to the many visitors who I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with. "Gemini" continues until June 29th and all are welcome. Did you ever wonder about the mythology and character analysis behind your astrological sign? Gemini is a new exhibit exploring the "sign of the twins", my own birth sign. Fifteen large new paintings will be on exhibit in the Frazee Gallery of the beautiful Saint John Arts Centre. Listen for the accompanying soundtrack, "Prometheus" created specifically for the exhibit by my son, Conor Wade. Opening reception is on Friday, May 11th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. |
