Birth Announcement

For those of you who are followers of Robert Genn's weekly email letters to artists and his wonderful website, you might recognize the heading "Birth Announcement". Robert's idea is we not lament the process but herald the completion of new work for the accomplishment it is.  And so in agreement, I wanted to let you know I have just posted three new works to the Gallery page as well as a new featured painting on the Home page. Comments welcome. 
My focus this year is the creation of a major amount of work for two new solo exhibits planned for 2011. I'm very excited about both projects and am enjoying the work and the focus. Stay tuned for more details.
Last night I met with a group of fellow artists over coffee as we do each month to share our plans, our ideas, our concerns and successes. Working alone as most of us do, this time together is golden ... sisters and brothers in art.
